My Country
The name of my country is Bangladesh. It became independent in 1971. Dhaka is its capital. Its land area is 1, 47, 570 square kilometres. About 170 million people live here.
It is mainly an agricultural country. Many kinds of fruits grow here. jackfruits, mangoes, bananas, pineapples, guavas, and watermelons are the most common fruits.
My country has also many rivers such as the Padma, the Meghna, the Jamuna, and the Karnaphuli. We have many interesting places also. The Sundarbans, Rangamati, and Cox’s Bazer are very attractive.
The Royal Bengal Tiger lives in the Sundarbans. Cox’s Bazar is the longest beach in the world. Mainamati, Paharpur, and Mohastangar are its historical places.
It is a peaceful country. I love my country very much. I am very proud of my country.

আমার দেশের নাম বাংলাদেশ। এ দেশ ১৯৭১ সালে স্বাধীন হয়। ঢাকা বাংলাদেশের রাজধানী। এর আয়তন ৫৬,৯৭৭ বর্গমাইল বা ১,৪৭,৫৭০ বর্গকিলোমিটার। এ দেশে প্রায় ১৭ কোটি মানুষ বসবাস করে।
বাংলাদেশ প্রধানত কৃষি নির্ভর দেশ। এ দেশে বিভিন্ন প্রকার ফল জন্মায়। যেমনঃ কাঁঠাল, আম, কলা, আনারস, পেয়ারা এবং তরমুজ অধিক পরিচিত ফল।
আমার দেশে অনেক নদীও আছে। যেমনঃ পদ্মা, মেঘনা, যমুনা এবং কর্ণফুলি।
আমাদের অনেক আনন্দদায়ক ভ্রমনের জন্য স্থানও রয়েছে। সুন্দরবন, রাঙ্গামাটি এবং কক্সবাজার খুবই আকর্ষণীয় স্থান। রয়েল বেঙ্গল টাইগার সুন্দরবনে বাস করে।
কক্সবাজার হলো পৃথিবীর সবচেয়ে বড় সমুদ্র সৈকত। ময়নামতি, পাহাড়পুর এবং মহাস্থানগড় এটার ঐতিহাসিক স্থান। এটি একটি শান্ত দেশ। আমি আমার দেশকে খুব ভালোবাসি । আমি আমার দেশকে নিয়ে খুবই গর্বিত ।
